Don't ever let me lose you
to the whims of time.

Never let me leave you be,
nor let me lag behind.

Because soon we must depart
upon our journeys' way.

In the hopes that once again
our paths with converge someday.

I actually wrote this awhile ago, when I realized what was soon to come. I wasn't originally going to post it, but if feels right to do so.

This poem is dedicated to the towering opposable appendage and the untethered rabbit; along with everyone else I know and love.
