The 'Naut by ~Zeeblee:iconZeeblee:

Energy unstoppable,
antsy itchy twitching,
waiting wondering; waiting.
Can't expend, can't focus
the pulse that carries on.
Make it stop yet never go away,
the tick that won't be tamed.
Kicking screaming
fighting the 'naut
pushing God's rock,
to no avail with no yield.
Energy unstoppable,
rooted deep.

Do you ever just have one of those times?

What causes them? Various things. What stops them? Nothing.

Sleepless nights, unfinished work; these are both products of the energy. The energy of contemplation that never rests until a conclusion is made and/or action is taken.

Hehehe, I guess the work continued itself into the Artist Comment. I hope everyone enjoyed this, and I hope you all interpret it according to yourselves.

Read the poem before reading this part! This is just a supplement to explain one possible confusion, and I'd rather not change how you think of the poem before you even get to it.

Oh, and to reduce confusion, the " 'naut" is an odd play on words. I didn't put an apostrophe in front of the word "naught" after removing the "gh," but I did intend for that word to come to mind. I also hope that you identified " 'naut" to be the ending of "juggernaut" (unstoppable object). Both of the words fit, and they should work together, just like "God's rock" (which is a reference to God's capability to create a rock even he can't move).

Actually, I really did like this one.

Really can relate to the feeling too.

Title made me think something about a juggernaut, yet nothing like the naught ending.

>.> AGH! head hurting for some reason.

Tis got a good flow, even better when spoken aloud.

Hehehe, thank you much. I'm glad 'naut wasn't too hard to distinguish as juggernaut. Huzzah!

Is it sad the first thing I thought of was Astronaut? Well, before reading it anyway.

Nah, I don't think that's sad; but it is funny.
